I notice when using draw there are waypoint options for simple (90 degrees) and isometric (30 degrees) but no option for 45/90/135 degrees, as seen on a London tube map for example.
I would love it if you added this feature.
Please add the Fortinet suite of products, or at the least:
I use draw.io, projected onto a large whiteboard (> 40 feet), for lectures. I need to use, affectively, a single-button mouse during the lecture.
Having a contextual menu appear on a double click (as opposed to a right-click) would allow me to delete objects, etc. [As opposed to walking to the other side of the board.]
Also having the ability to have a keyboard would be ideal to label simple diagrams.37 votes
or the full name of the shape, so we could know it's catalog name, and using shapes belong the same catalog.
For example, I search for "Cloud", and use one shape from the search result. Then I'd like to use the "DB Server" shape from the same catalog.2 votes
Sometimes, I want to findout the diffference bewteen two versioned files, but it's impossible with current file format, compressed xml or non-compressed xml (since the whole content is in one single line).
So I hope draw.io could provide a "pretty xml" format, and configuration to set it as default format.

I want to make a procedure (PFC = procedural function chart) that consist of unit, operation, phases.
I made them myself and also the horizontal line or double line. And here lies the problem, the connection to or from a horizontal line must always be vertical, but I cannot define such property that the connection is everywhere, but is always vertical.1 vote
keyboard shortcut to insert a given element:
It's handy to use Ctrl-K to insert rectangle so let's take a step further to allow users to have shortcuts to other shapes. I find myself using rectangle, diamond 90% of the time so it would be useful to have shortcuts for diamond shape as well. Stretch goal might be allowing users to create their own shortcuts for particular shapes and connectors.3 votes
Just like other cloud storage capabilities I propose you allow the entering of private ownCloud connections to save to4 votes
Even simple graphical editor that allows user to draw lines and add connection points to define a new shape. This would be a lot faster for making custom, complex shapes than manually editing the markup for a new shape.13 votes
It is possible to edit the start and the end of a connection.
It will be good to edit also the middle.

It would be great to be able to create a popup menu (or the ability to hide and unhide some elements) based on a geometry link.
On a practical example, this means the next:
Three boxes, you click on, for example, B
| Any Shape |
| Or Content |
If this happened to be too difficult to made, what about taking the Lucidchart's approach?
You can open pages directly by clicking on some objects, getting an interactive chart.
How much work would it take to enable saving to Box?
Box.com is often used by enterprises as they have a robust SSO mechanism, encryption using EKM and offsite HSM, and enterprise charging models. APIs are available and documented.22 votes
Huge need to import/ export diagrams/ models from tools like Sparx EA and MagicDraw. Both of these support variations of XMI formats. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XML_Metadata_Interchange21 votes
Please add an option where we can import/export our diagrams into a *.docx document.11 votes
It would be very handy to have weight for the edges to affect auto layout.
In my particular case, I would like to have strong connections between grouped objects so that they layout together instead of spreading apart.3 votes
Show all the page tabs in the viewer so it's easy to see all the pages and switch between them.3 votes
It Vould be nice to add padding when you group elements together, because frequently I could add some outline to the group but now when I do that, the outline is on the existing elements margin.3 votes
